DoorDash

Food delivery

Dinner sorted, in one message

Practice ran late and nobody's cooking. Say "the usual from the Thai place" and the assistant builds the DoorDash order and shows you the total before ordering. The assistant uses DoorDash in its own browser after you sign in. It shows you the cart and total, and nothing is ordered without your yes.

What you’ll need

  • Your DoorDash account (or a guest visit, for some sites)
  • About 5 minutes, plus a one-time sign-in

Steps

  1. Decide what you want help with, for example “fill my cart” or “find a time.”
  2. Ask Grok Bot to open DoorDash. If it needs your account, it will show a sign-in screen and you type your password yourself.
  3. Grok Bot does the clicking and searching, then shows you what it found or filled in.
  4. Review it and say “yes” before anything is ordered, booked or paid.
  5. For repeat jobs, say: “Do this every week and check with me first.”
Stuck? Try this: Site asks “Are you a robot?” Grok Bot will hand you the screen for a moment so you can tap the box, then carry on.

How Grok Bot connects

Browser help: Grok Bot uses the DoorDash website in its own browser after you sign in. It doesn’t need a special connection, and it asks before it orders, books or pays.
