FamilyWall
Family calendar, lists and messaging
Who's where tonight, at a glance
FamilyWall keeps the family calendar and lists together. The assistant reads the calendar feed and sends one evening note: who's going where tomorrow, and who's driving. FamilyWall supports calendar sync. The assistant reads it and combines it with your other calendars.
What it handles for you
- Tomorrow's who-goes-where sent the night before
- Conflicts with other calendars flagged
- Week-ahead summaries for both parents
Set it up, step by step
No tech experience needed. Take it one step at a time.
What you’ll need
- The app account you already use
- Your family calendar (Google, Apple or Outlook)
- About 10 minutes
Steps
- Sign in to FamilyWall on the website or app, the same way you normally do.
- Open the app’s Settings, Calendar or Schedule area and look for words like “Subscribe,” “Sync calendar,” “Export” or “iCal.”
- Copy the calendar link it gives you. It usually starts with webcal:// or https://.
- Open your family calendar and choose “Add calendar” then “From URL” (or “Subscribe”). Paste the link and save.
- Wait a few minutes, then check that a few FamilyWall events appear on your calendar.
- Tell Grok Bot: “Watch my FamilyWall calendar and warn me about changes.”
Stuck? Try this: No calendar link anywhere? Search the app’s help pages for “calendar sync.” Some programs only offer it on the website, not the phone app.
How Grok Bot connects
Calendar sync: the app publishes a calendar link (often called a feed, subscribe link or iCal link). Once that link is added to your family calendar, Grok Bot reads the events from there.
