Organizing carpools with other families
Carpool week, figured out
Four families, three sports, one carpool. GoKid emails who's driving. The assistant checks it against your calendar and flags the day you're driving during a work call. The assistant reads GoKid notification emails for carpool assignments and changes.
What it handles for you
- Your driving days on the calendar
- Conflicts with work spotted
- Swaps suggested for you to send to the other parents
Set it up, step by step
No tech experience needed. Take it one step at a time.
What you’ll need
- Your GoKid account
- The email inbox it sends to
- About 5 minutes
Steps
- Sign in to GoKid the way you normally do.
- Open the app’s Settings or Notifications area.
- Turn on email notifications for the things you care about, like messages, reminders or due dates.
- Check that the email address listed is the one you connected to Grok Bot.
- Tell Grok Bot: “When GoKid emails arrive, give me the one-line version and remind me of deadlines.”
Stuck? Try this: Not seeing emails? Check your spam or Promotions folder and mark one as “Not spam” so the next ones land in your inbox.
How Grok Bot connects
Email: Grok Bot reads the notification emails GoKid already sends you, in the inbox you connected. Nothing new is installed inside GoKid.
Prefer a hand? We can set it up with you.
