Hearth Display
Wall calendar with chore charts
The wall calendar that matches real life
Your Hearth Display shows routines and the calendar. The assistant keeps the synced calendar current, so the kids' morning screen matches today's actual plan. Hearth syncs calendars from services like Google or Outlook. The assistant works on those calendars, and the changes show up on the display.
What it handles for you
- Schedule changes show up on the wall screen
- Early-release and no-school days added in time
- Morning plan accurate for the kids
Set it up, step by step
No tech experience needed. Take it one step at a time.
What you’ll need
- The app account you already use
- Your family calendar (Google, Apple or Outlook)
- About 10 minutes
Steps
- Sign in to Hearth Display on the website or app, the same way you normally do.
- Open the app’s Settings, Calendar or Schedule area and look for words like “Subscribe,” “Sync calendar,” “Export” or “iCal.”
- Copy the calendar link it gives you. It usually starts with webcal:// or https://.
- Open your family calendar and choose “Add calendar” then “From URL” (or “Subscribe”). Paste the link and save.
- Wait a few minutes, then check that a few Hearth Display events appear on your calendar.
- Tell Grok Bot: “Watch my Hearth Display calendar and warn me about changes.”
Stuck? Try this: No calendar link anywhere? Search the app’s help pages for “calendar sync.” Some programs only offer it on the website, not the phone app.
How Grok Bot connects
Calendar sync: the app publishes a calendar link (often called a feed, subscribe link or iCal link). Once that link is added to your family calendar, Grok Bot reads the events from there.
