Instacart

Grocery delivery from local stores

Tuesday's meal plan, in a cart by Monday night

You approve five dinners on Sunday. The assistant fills an Instacart cart at your usual store with everything on the list, checks what's on sale and leaves the checkout for you. The assistant shops Instacart in its own browser after you sign in. It builds the cart, shows you the total and substitutions, and you place the order.

What it handles for you

  • Meal plans turned into a full cart at your store
  • Sale items and swaps pointed out
  • You review and check out, so nothing is ordered without you

Set it up, step by step

No tech experience needed. Take it one step at a time.

What you’ll need

  • Your Instacart account (or a guest visit, for some sites)
  • About 5 minutes, plus a one-time sign-in

Steps

  1. Decide what you want help with, for example “fill my cart” or “find a time.”
  2. Ask Grok Bot to open Instacart. If it needs your account, it will show a sign-in screen and you type your password yourself.
  3. Grok Bot does the clicking and searching, then shows you what it found or filled in.
  4. Review it and say “yes” before anything is ordered, booked or paid.
  5. For repeat jobs, say: “Do this every week and check with me first.”
Stuck? Try this: Site asks “Are you a robot?” Grok Bot will hand you the screen for a moment so you can tap the box, then carry on.

How Grok Bot connects

Browser help: Grok Bot uses the Instacart website in its own browser after you sign in. It doesn’t need a special connection, and it asks before it orders, books or pays.
