Audiobooks ready for the road trip
Your library holds come through on Libby. The assistant checks your holds and suggests audiobooks the kids will like for the 6-hour drive. The assistant uses Libby's website after you sign in with your library card. It borrows only with your OK.
What it handles for you
- Hold queue checked and summarized
- Road-trip audiobooks suggested
- Due dates reminded before books disappear
Set it up, step by step
No tech experience needed. Take it one step at a time.
What you’ll need
- Your Libby account (or a guest visit, for some sites)
- About 5 minutes, plus a one-time sign-in
Steps
- Decide what you want help with, for example “fill my cart” or “find a time.”
- Ask Grok Bot to open Libby. If it needs your account, it will show a sign-in screen and you type your password yourself.
- Grok Bot does the clicking and searching, then shows you what it found or filled in.
- Review it and say “yes” before anything is ordered, booked or paid.
- For repeat jobs, say: “Do this every week and check with me first.”
Stuck? Try this: Site asks “Are you a robot?” Grok Bot will hand you the screen for a moment so you can tap the box, then carry on.
How Grok Bot connects
Browser help: Grok Bot uses the Libby website in its own browser after you sign in. It doesn’t need a special connection, and it asks before it orders, books or pays.
Prefer a hand? We can set it up with you.
