MySchoolBucks
Lunch money and school payments
The lunch account won't hit zero on a Monday
MySchoolBucks sends low-balance emails that are easy to swipe away. The assistant catches them and asks once: "Add $40 to Liam's lunch account?" The assistant reads MySchoolBucks emails. If you approve, it can use the site after you sign in. Every payment needs your yes.
What it handles for you
- Low-balance warnings caught and turned into one question
- School fees and field-trip payments listed with due dates
- Receipts kept together for the end of the year
Set it up, step by step
No tech experience needed. Take it one step at a time.
What you’ll need
- Your MySchoolBucks account
- The email inbox it sends to
- About 10 minutes, plus a one-time sign-in
Steps
- Turn on email notifications in MySchoolBucks’s Settings or Notifications area.
- Make sure they go to the inbox you connected to Grok Bot.
- When Grok Bot needs the website, it will open a sign-in screen on its own computer. You type your password yourself. Never paste it into chat.
- Approve each action when Grok Bot asks, for example “Book this time?” or “Pay this?”
- Tell Grok Bot what to watch, for example: “Remind me two days before anything is due in MySchoolBucks.”
Stuck? Try this: Sign-in asks for a code? That’s normal. Enter it on the sign-in screen yourself. Grok Bot never needs to see it.
How Grok Bot connects
Email plus browser help: Grok Bot reads MySchoolBucks’s emails, and with your OK it can use the MySchoolBucks website in its own browser after you sign in yourself. It always asks before it submits, books or pays.
