PlayMetrics

Soccer club schedules and registration

Soccer club schedule, even when it changes on Thursday

PlayMetrics clubs publish practice and game calendars. The assistant subscribes to the feed, so a Thursday field swap shows up on your calendar with an alert. With the PlayMetrics calendar feed on your family calendar, the assistant watches it for changes.

What you’ll need

  • The app account you already use
  • Your family calendar (Google, Apple or Outlook)
  • About 10 minutes

Steps

  1. Sign in to PlayMetrics on the website or app, the same way you normally do.
  2. Open the app’s Settings, Calendar or Schedule area and look for words like “Subscribe,” “Sync calendar,” “Export” or “iCal.”
  3. Copy the calendar link it gives you. It usually starts with webcal:// or https://.
  4. Open your family calendar and choose “Add calendar” then “From URL” (or “Subscribe”). Paste the link and save.
  5. Wait a few minutes, then check that a few PlayMetrics events appear on your calendar.
  6. Tell Grok Bot: “Watch my PlayMetrics calendar and warn me about changes.”
Stuck? Try this: No calendar link anywhere? Search the app’s help pages for “calendar sync.” Some programs only offer it on the website, not the phone app.

How Grok Bot connects

Calendar sync: the app publishes a calendar link (often called a feed, subscribe link or iCal link). Once that link is added to your family calendar, Grok Bot reads the events from there.
