Skyward

Grades, attendance, fees

Grades, attendance and that unpaid fee, without the portal maze

Skyward is powerful and confusing. The assistant reads its alert emails and, after you sign in, can find the fee or the attendance record you were hunting for. Turn on Skyward email notifications. For anything deeper, the assistant opens the Family Access site in its own browser after you sign in yourself, and it asks before paying any fee.

Visit the Skyward website

What it handles for you

  • Attendance and grade alerts turned into plain language
  • Outstanding fees found and shown to you before anything is paid
  • Report card release dates noted on the calendar

Set it up, step by step

No tech experience needed. Take it one step at a time.

⏱ About 10 minutes
🔗 Emails + website

What you’ll need

  • Your Skyward account
  • The email inbox it sends to
  • About 10 minutes, plus a one-time sign-in

Steps

  1. Turn on email notifications in Skyward’s Settings or Notifications area.
  2. Make sure they go to the inbox you connected to Grok Bot.
  3. When Grok Bot needs the website, it will open a sign-in screen on its own computer. You type your password yourself. Never paste it into chat.
  4. Approve each action when Grok Bot asks, for example “Book this time?” or “Pay this?”
  5. Tell Grok Bot what to watch, for example: “Remind me two days before anything is due in Skyward.”
Stuck? Try this: Sign-in asks for a code? That’s normal. Enter it on the sign-in screen yourself. Grok Bot never needs to see it.

How Grok Bot connects

Email plus browser help: Grok Bot reads Skyward’s emails, and with your OK it can use the Skyward website in its own browser after you sign in yourself. It always asks before it submits, books or pays.
